Children’s Ministries

We aim to help children grow in their walk with Jesus. We offer a place where kids come to learn about God in a safe, exciting, friendly, and fun environment.

In-person and via livestream

For Children During the Service

We encourage kids to experience worship on their level.

Activity Bags – Fidget bags available to help kids listen quietly during worship. Additionally, praise packs are available for older children and include reading and activity sheets.
Children’s Moment – Our pastor has a learning time with the children up front. It ends with prayer.
Singing Time – We have ten minutes of worship songs that the children know and enjoy. Signs are included to offer one more way to worship.

We offer two options for families with children who continue to worship at their level: Young Children Worship OR Greenhouse. See details about each below.

Opportunities

Nursery

For infants to pre-K
We offer high quality nursery for children through pre-school, staffed by trained MSU students.

Young Children’s Worship

For children 4-6 years old
This Montessori and sensorimotor approach is for children ages 4 years to 6 years. Children and Worship curriculum by Stewart and Berryman is used. They learn about God by experiencing God through story, listening and talking to God. They end their time with a snack and enjoy fellowship with each other.

Greenhouse

For children 2nd grade to 5th grade
Using Group’s DigIn curriculum, children are hearing about God from Genesis to Revelation. Experiencing God through hearing how we see God in scripture, relating it to our lives and responding back to God through prayer. The time is ended with Kids’ Cafe. A time to enjoy fellowship with each other.

Pathways (Christian Education Time)

For children preschool through 5th grade, September-May

Using the Dwell curriculum. We offer stories from the Bible and activities that help us learn how to apply these truths.

Preschool (3 years to 5 years) – Room 5
Kindergarten to 2nd Grade – Room 1
3rd Grade to 5th Grade – Room 8

Vacation Bible School

For four-years-old to 6th grade
VBS for kids age 4 through 6th grades features fun, interactive ways for children to learn about Jesus and his love for them. Meets in the summer.
