Strategic Visioning Process? What is our vision? What is God calling us, River Terrace Church, to do in the next 1-3 years–given who and where we are now? Our staff and council think it’s important for us to gain clarity about a shared vision for the future so that we make the most of the talents and resources God has given us as a church. We also see high value in learning a rolling strategic process that allows us to set some clear 12-24-36 month goals, review and revisit them each year, and in this way maintain clear focus for our ministry each year.
Council has brought on Matt Visser, a consultant from Design Group International, to help us develop a shared vision for our church. An important component of the strategic visioning process involves gathering input from our congregation.
On April 21, after the 9:30 service (in the gym) and after The Well (which will meet in the Fellowship Hall that Sunday) we invite everyone middle school age and up to gather around tables and food of some sort for about 75 minutes and share our answers to some questions we’ll receive ahead of time.
